Gudmundsen Sandhills Laboratory Fifth Annual Open House

The fifth annual University of Nebraska Gudmundsen Sandhills Laboratory Open House will feature activities and commercial exhibits geared toward rangeland management and the beef cattle industry. Topics will include ranch management during drought, animal identification, heifer development, herd health, new EPDs for the beef industry, cattle inventory and markets, international trade, biosecurity, and protein supplements during winter grazing. Since 1981, research and educational programs at Gudmundsen have included joint projects with animal, range, soil, veterinary, economics, entomology, geology, hydrology, forestry and wildlife specialists
