North Platte River Basin Water Policy Conference

Speakers from Nebraska, Colorado, Kansas and the USDA will present management and technical recommendations to help farmers get the most benefit from their irrigation. Main program topics include: drought status; water regulations and policy; salinity management; water conservation; crop residue and water management; irrigation management with alternative crops; irrigation management with corn; center pivot sprinkler performance; and subsurface drip irrigation. A panel of farmers will add their insights on irrigation management and on-farm issues.
